National Anti-Violence and Sexual Harassment Helpline (NAVH)
NAVH a dedicated 24-hour helpline for reporting of violence and abuse. Victims and members of the public can call to report cases of family violence, abuse or neglect, and seek help.

TRANS SAFE Centre is a Protection Specialist Centre (PSC). We aim to promote safe relationship in families by providing help to victims of abuse, persons who abuse and their families who are affected by the abuse.

Information shared will be kept confidential.

There is no civil or criminal liability for making a report, as long as you are providing the information in good faith.

Reports made through the helpline or online reporting form will be treated similarly.

A police report may be lodged based on the information that you provide. This may happen if the information must, by law, be reported to the police.

When reporting over the phone, it would be helpful to provide as much information as possible, such as:

Description of injuries, abuse, neglect

When and how did you find out about the abuse

Victim’s name, age, address

Name of the person allegedly causing harm, age and relationship to the victim
